Hi, I’m Jessa Boyer, founder of Pour A Vida Cafe.

Pour A Vida has been a dream of mine for more than 20 years. Inspired by my travels, my love of coffee, and a deep appreciation for meaningful human connection, I created Pour A Vida to be more than just a place to grab a drink. My vision has always been to create a welcoming experience where people feel seen, valued, and part of a community.

As an Anishinaabe woman from the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa, community has always been at the center of everything I do. Throughout my career, I’ve spent more than 20 years working in leadership, operations, hospitality, event production, public arts, and community-centered initiatives throughout Minnesota and beyond.

I am also the Owner and Operations Director of Insphyre Performance, an entertainment company that brings unique experiences to festivals, community celebrations, and special events across the region. Whether producing large-scale performances or serving a perfectly crafted latte, I believe the details matter and that every interaction is an opportunity to create something memorable.

Pour A Vida, which means “Pure Life” reflects my belief that some of life’s best moments happen over a great cup of coffee and good conversation. My goal is simple: serve quality coffee, create genuine connections, and contribute positively to the communities we call home.
